I'll sidestep the oil question and answer the gas one. Definitely drain the tank. That plug you undid is probably the bottom strainer on the petcock (the on/off/res switch). Go ahead and replace that plug. Disconnect the fuel line from the carbs then disconnect the vacuum line as well. Switch the
