Surf - Thanks, great idea - being more precise. What I found is - there are two different part numbers, and the part number changed over from 1998-to-1999. >From (1998) - 45126-MW3-671, To (1999-2002) - 45126-MW3C71; and part price went from $44.44 to $41.57 (so definitely a different part).

What year? If it is another 83-85 650 then you are in luck they have great parts availability. You will need to clean the carbs, change fluids, disassemble and clean the calipers and master cylinders, and clean all electrical connectors. Brake lines should be replaced as the factory says replac
