Just did the hydraulic clutch clean up and fluid replacement on a CB550SC and found the source of a big leak. It was the seal that prevents oil leaking past the push rod. Fortunately I had a spare I ordered for a 650SC . They are the same. It is a common place for a leak and a very easy fix. No

Yeah get a service manual. There isn't any adjustments on the front other than your spacer preload. If you want to do it right clean everything, new bushings seals and dust boots. Take the trac system apart and clean all ports. Fill to correct level with the fork slider fully down. I just r

Does the bike drip oil? It is pretty common for a bike to have weeps that collect dust. I just wipe with a rag from time to time. If you have a leaky base gasket then that is a fairly big thing to fix. Not to disuade anyone from fixing their own stuff. Just know what your getting into before you te
