If you don't do that the problem is that any spill of gas in the tank
decals will ruin them. That's why it is always better to apply the clear

Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] HELP! Buying a Nighthawk, too good to be true?
To: Nighthawk
I have a Corbin seat on my 750. The seat is lower, but it is also wider,
which doesn't help. I can almost be sure that it can make it even worse. I
think you can bring the bike down a tiny bit by compressing the spring of
the rear suspension to the maximum setting.

Givi used to sell racks for the NH but they are expensive and now hard to
find.

They should have two Tommy, but the throttle cables for the 700s are hard
to find. You can use the ones for the 650 but I think they are a bit
shorter.

Allen, why the need to cut the springs? if you want more tension just make
the spacer longer with the spring as it.
As for springs goes, I have replaced those in my nighhawk and on the
cbr1000f with progressive. They are longer so the diving at brake is
reduced, and they feel much better over all.
I think that might be a nice project, although it really depends on the
overall condition. From that picture looks nice.
