Soak it with PB blaster and use Impact if available. I agree with a new socket as well - old worn sockets = rounded bolt heads. Using Mapp gas would be the additional step. It burns hotter than Propane. You'll find the little yellow bottles in the hardware store next to the little blue propane

I can try and take one later. I'm at work now. It's not completely stripped, but the corners are definitely rounded. It's one of the two 12 mm bolts on the underside that connect the pipes to the frame. So, to get to it you come up at it from under the bike. Not a ton of room to work. I

I bought a replacement exhaust for my '83 NH 650, and while taking the existing one off, I ran into a stuck bolt. One of the 12mm bolts on the underside that holds the exhaust to the frame. I tried a breaker bar, my impact driver, some liquid wrench, and some of those Craftsman Bolt
