Let's stick with someone who week in week out shows himself to be totally
inadequate on the off chance the next bloke is even worse.

Have any new age conspiracy nutters mentioned Morgan is sticking with Mick
so there's only two relegation places for Liverpool to avoid?

I can understand the call for O'Neill but O'Driscoll? Just because he is a
Wolves fan? I don't see how taking a team to mid table in the Championship
qualifies someone to run a club in the Premiership.

Albion went down last time supposedly playing entertaining football. We're
in for a scrap so if people want entertaining football it's unlikely to come
from Wolves, whoever is the manager.

I don't see Morgan sacking him until next season, although now would be the
time to do it.

As per previous email Steve, after the next 4 or 5 games and we remain
winless then MM could be on his way. Morgan will have a tough decision to
make. Be interesting to see who he approaches if this eventuates?

MM is out of his depth, time for a change in a few games time if this bad

I can understand the call for O'Neill but O'Driscoll? Just because he is a
Wolves fan? I don't see how taking a team to mid table in the Championship
qualifies someone to run a club in the Premiership.

Albion went down last time supposedly playing entertaining football. We're
in for a scrap so if people want entertaining football it's unlikely to come
from Wolves, whoever is the manager.

I don't see Morgan sacking him until next season, although now would be the
time to do it.

Yes, O'Neill would be a good manager for us. Another possibility would be
Sean O'Driscoll from Doncaster. He's had very little money to spend and they
play good entertaining football.

As per previous email Steve, after the next 4 or 5 games and we remain
winless then MM could be on his way. Morgan will have a tough decision to
make. Be interesting to see who he approaches if this eventuates?

RE: [BTMO] Re: Wigan - Roll Call

2010-10-17 Thread LEESE Matthew

Whenever Mick makes one of his left back themed substitutions he never removes
our totally inept starting left back. The other week against Wigan I was
bemused to see Elokobi warming up, thinking 'Why would you swap one average
left back for another?'. My bemusement levels failed to cope with what happened
next, as he removed Fletcher, pushing Ward into midfield, with Elokobi
replacing him at left back. I'm not a big fan of booing, but the Thick tag is
definitely gaining credibility. 'Putting in a shift' being put ahead of
footballing ability is staring to wear a bit thin now as well. I'd much rather
deprive myself of sleep to see blokes who can pass a ball than ones who can run
back quickly after they've mis-passed it.

The good thing about the Championship is that I wake up most Sundays to find

Why take Fletcher off when we have to win?

Fingers crossed for a lucky late goal!

The sooner we appoint Martin O'Neil the better!

MM is out of his depth, time for a change in a few games time if this bad run
continues.

We do need to beat West Ham. Disappointed that Everton won – one of my mate’s

Hoddle has a lot of recent experience at failing, no chance...if O'neil
is 30/1 Hoddle must be triple that.

Irrelevant. Mick is the manager. O'Neill won't come. If there is a
change it needs to be someone with a lot of experience and a football
brain. Hoddle for example.

I'm generally positive about Wolves as I've got more than I
hoped for from them and I'm enjoying our spell in the Premiership. We
survived last season and we might survive this season. A win against
West Ham and a point off one of the top four and we'll be OK.

I don't see how we can expect to win games with ten men for most
of the match. It's hard enough in this league with eleven. It was a
poor performance but what did everyone expect? Some kind or Roy Of The

with two broken legs.

I have always been a fan of Roy Hodgson but he is really struggling at
Liverpool.

I think most of us know Mick is lacking, we really are going nowhere,
our best player has scored two goals so far this season and none in
league games. What does Ebanks Blake have to do to get a start? Our
defence has not been strengthened at all and it was so obviously lacking
last year, and looks worse this time around.

I hear Hunt is due to play for the reserves but who in their right mind
signs players who have long term injuries?

I have seen no sign of improvement, and now we have to play all the top
teams in succession, I shudder to think what could happen over the next
few weeks, but everyone will eb saying, we can't judge him on thos
performances...no but we can over the last couple.

Berra would have had a far better chance of getting his head in the way of
the ball for their first goal if he wasn't clinging so tightly to their
bloke.

and a big thanks to Karl Henry for being so stupid. See him in about 6
matches time. (Hopefully not sooner)

And it won't be long before Berra is sent off again for continually holding
as well.

Don't we have any youngsters ready to start blooding ? We constantly hear
about our great youth setup, well, where are they ?? With 2 midfielders out
this is the time to bring some youngsters in.

And hasn't Milijas been with us long enough now to have been beasted into
match fitness by the training staff ?

Bad substitutions although Henry's tackle was ridiculous. A great free kick
and an own goal is hardly a big endorsement for Wigan.

RE: [BTMO] Re: Wigan - Roll Call

2010-10-02 Thread Rog & Reet
Oh yes I have.
At the moment I'd suggest 5 year old work experience Inuit who's never seen
tarmac would do a far better job than the present fool.

Didn't think I'd ever see anything worse than the game against a dire
Blackburn last season.
WRONG, WRONG, ING TOTALLY ***ING WRONG.
Wigan were even worse than Blackburn and that's saying a bloody big
something.

We started off so positively as well last night, Mick must have been wearing
his reckless hat all week.
Against Villa we passed it back to Hahnemann 3 times in the first 3 minutes.
Last night it was 3 passes in the first 4 minutes.
Only 2 passes back to him straight from kick offs.

On a positive note it's great you've finally seen through the hapless,
hopeless joke Steve.
Was starting to worry about your extremely serious lack of judgement.

Re: [BTMO] Re: Wigan - Roll Call

2010-10-02 Thread Marcus Chantry
By Mick's own admission, our final position in the league won't be determined
by results against the likes of Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea (3 of our next 4
games) rather it will be determined by the results against our relegation
rivals.

Well Mick, you've just shown that the team you have built isn't capable of
beating the team that started the season in the bookies top 3 favourite teams
to be relegated.

and a big thanks to Karl Henry for being so stupid. See him in about 6 matches

And it won't be long before Berra is sent off again for continually holding as
well.

Dunno the street.

Not much interest from the group Jimmy. I think BTMO might having their

Let's say the RE is the venue for the game and I'll sort something out
with you, Matt and Elliot for a few pre drinks

Matt says that they will put the sound on in the Exhibition, but that it
will be quiet. Glenmore will be more lively but do they show games with
sound now it's been ponced up?
