Hello,
I need two more twiks for my footnotes:
I am using asterisk instead of numbers or letter for the footnotes.
Twik 1:
My font is too slanted and the asterisk (*) is printed too close to the
last word in the sentence.
Example:
Charles IV \footnote[]{asdfasdf}
will print an asterisk touching
me some room before printing the asterisk?
Second twik:
How to control the distance between the page text and the line that separates
the footnote and the page text?
I tried the "distance=", the "height=" arguments in the
setupfootnotes, but they don't do
what I want.
I looked at two context manuals and can't find the setting to
get footnotes with * instead of a letter or a number.

I do have

I listen to any other idea...

Sorry, I made a typo error. The title of the book I am
reading is "Goodbye Gutenberg" by Valerie
Kirschenbaum.
A book I recommend for any person interested in
book design, typography, history, reading, fonts, etc.

I have tried with layers for the background picture,
and it works, but I don't know how to tell Context to
use alternative pictures, one for the left pages,
another for the right pages. My apologies for the

the
accent.
In the same lines, is there any grammar checker?
