thanks for helping the poor beginner - the forgotten \starttext
\stoptext was, what the program was requesting from me.

Hi Johannes,
I looked at your coding.
The use module line has two typo's It should be \usemodule[pictex,chemic]
The statements are not complete i.e. you forgot the \stopcombination.
Further when starting a combination one needs to give the number of rows
and columns e.g. [2*3]. with only [6] all

Thanks to all who answered me! Special thanks to Tobias.
I will use ochem or something like that under LaTeX because I need
seven-membered rings.
Or is it possible to use ochem under ConTeXt?
Greetings

Well, it is possible by "abusing" the basal structures ONE and SIX. As
an example for a 120 degree angle using SIX see the sample s
In my opinion - it's not only its complexity preventing the users from
using it, but also it's insufficient flexibility. As long as I
understood the manual (and tried to draw some formulas), it is possible
to create a certain subset of images, which covers the most needs, but
certainly not all

Betreff: AW: [NTG-context] PPCHTeX Bug?
Hello,
I am new here in this list and I am the one who has the problems with
ppchtex.
At first I have to thank Hraban and Tobias for their committed help!
Under LaTeX I tried the downloaded version of ppchtex.tex from
pragma-ade.nl. I got

Hello,
PPCHTeX seems to be broken in the latest ConTeXt beta version.
Here an example (copied from the manual):
\usemodule[pictex,chemic]
\starttext
\startchemical[scale=small,width=6000,height=6000,frame=on]

Perhaps there is some other better place to post this question, but
since "ConTeXt" has put quite some effort to be compatible with it and
since I cannot subscribe to ntg-ppchtex: I've tried to draw some
chemical formulas with PPCTeX and wasn't able to find any option,
allowing to visualize sp2
