I should say that it isn't just the Simple Selector checkbox that's being
difficult. I can't save any changes, or non-changes. The Save button just isn't
doing its job in any Record Attribute Type category or individual line item.

The conversation on this has all been good. Great points from everyone so far!
I don't have time to think too deeply about this now, but if it was picked for
development I would want to see a difference in a patron- or staff-forced
renewal vs. the automatic renewal when looking at an item in the
a pop-up box, to show when this permission-based error
occurs. Currently nothing happens, which is confusing.
For reference, the permission needed to edit the MARC Coded Value Maps is
'ADMIN_CODED_VALUE'.

Yes, I can see why "Lost" and "Missing" probably wouldn't need an alert in

Our library staff need and use alerts for Lost and Missing. If something has
been lost and is now returned, we need to decide whether we will refund the
patron and put the item back into circ

Lots of handy receipt ideas! Rotating the text can be done, but the characters
will be rotated as well (so they will be sideways, not cascading a

for Temps does not. We can also control how MANY of each circ mod/copy
location/etc patrons can check out. Standard patrons can only have one Kindle

Thanks, Jason. I have view access to the database through Notepad++ and editing
access to some less-dangerous areas. :)

Equinox managed our migration, so I don't know the details of how to go about
adding a DOB to all users who contain a blank.
