Happy to say that I got an AM/AOS on Cymbidium Little Black Sambo recently. I have just realized that O'Byrne has been honored with his own hybrid too.
There are heaps of orchids named for celebrities. Some four-legged equine celebrities so honored have been Phar Lap,
Henry Oakeley's post certainly helps to clarify some aspects of the
selection of Singapore as the host country for the 2011 World Orchid
Conference.
As Henry suggests, we should now concentrate on the next WOC in Miami, in 2008.

How handy are you? I made a fog system out of copper pipe and fog nozzles that is hooked to a $150 Karcher electric pressure washer and a cycle timer as well as a thermostat. I don't know how long the presure washer will hold up but it is going on its second season without problems.
