osg::Geometry-based utility functions to render rudimentary shapes such as
planes, boxes,
spheres, and arrows.
If it doesn't, perhaps this would be a good place for you to add it, so

code averages
errors out down in this range, and throws errors out that are outside this
range.
There's a lot more work and testing that could be done in this space, but my
client's
application didn't really call for anything further.

could be very slow and expensive.
You should be able to do what you're looking for on-GPU. There are some cache
and
read/write issues when you need to write to a data store and then immediately
read it back
and use it for drawing. Others can comment on that.

Ok, I've tested osgmovie and the ffmpeg plugin on Windows and it works as
well as it did
on 2.8.3. Let's consider that good enough.
Now we just need to get the CMake DLL so version number CMake stuff sorted
out.

If you're using the run() method on the viewer, you will need to stop using
that and
have a loop where you call frame() yourself for each frame, followed by
performing the
steps necessary to add/remove data.

set masks on the osgShadow object (you should be able to see their values in
the .osg
file). Make sure your node(s) do not have these mask bits set, and they will

This almost 100% means you're mixing code compiled as debug with release code.
Go back and re-check all of your inputs, if you're using any pre-compiled
libraries. If
you're compiling everything from scratch, check your debug/release settings of
_everything_.

I think there's an example for doing this. Look at the osgposter example -- I

loads highest LODs before rendering.
