I get "sorry that page doesn't exist", and I am logged in. I don't see it
under "All Projects" or "Community Projects" either.
More generally: It's extremely heartening to see a new Osgeo website on a
mainstream platform and looking current and relevant.
Hi Folks,
Although I'm barely even a lurker in terms of the Osgeo4W project these
days I'm still one of the 2 mailing list administrators (the other is Frank
Warmerdam, also a ghost).
This evening someone reached out because they were having trouble posting
and even subscribing to the list. When
up on downloads.osgeo.org. Please use GitHub for
bug reports.

Often it takes me twice as much time and headscratching to verify the

I think that anything that ships with default python.org should be
included in some way, be that as part of the main package or a separate
package. So long as it isn't harder to maintain.
I've decided to separate the core python binaries and the o4w
environment settings into different
point of view.
However as I don't understand everything the file does I'm not going to
mess with it just yet.
The above is now part of pkg-shell v 1.0.0-9, which has been tested and
works on my machine. I promoted it to regular use. More testing and
feedback welcome.

Hi All,
I've been reviewing the current state of Python 2.7 in Osgeo4w, and

with the fact the testing repository setup.ini is not updateable at
