Why not hold it in the NT before or after the Frontiers of Midwifery
conference. I think Jan Robinson suggested this some time ago. Would love
to help out if I can even though I live in Sydney.

Purple hearts are available from CARES. If
anyone wants to dedicate a heart to have on display at the NCAD C-Scape picnic
being held in Adelaide; you can email me what you would like to have on the
heart and we can do it on your behalf. If anyone wants to receive the
hearts and get them
We will be taking a photo on the day of the hearts
on display for all to see. if you have someone you know that may like to
dedicate a heart, please let us know ASAP.

Sally, Alukura hasn'thad a birth at the
centre for a numberof years now. Since June this year the midwives have
gainedvisiting priveleges to the hospital. So if the women want to birth
at the hospital an Alukuramidwife can come and look after them, assist at
the birth etc.

saddened to read KEMH represented as thelowest possible standard - but I
spose it is refreshing to hear some other birth place is being less flexible
than KEMH is.
