I just did a system upgrade last week. I went from a Intel 3Ghz system to a
Athlon64 3500+ system. I have 1GB of Ram, about 400GB of Disk Space, PCI

I hate to say it, but you get what you pay for. If you want a good sound
recorder then you will have to pay something for it.
I know you may not be able to afford soundfordge but you might be able to
afford goldwave or something similar.
Before everyone bombards me, I live on a fixed inco
to using an
AMD chip set instead of the Intel processor and chip set. That was one of
the main reasons I went all Intel this time.
