Anders! You can purchase Sound Forge from www.soundforge.com as a
download for $399.96 but you can get it on CD from Chirping Bat for
$350.00 and this includes Noise Reduction 2.0 and CD Architect 5.0.
From www.soundforge.com these two products can only be purchased as

Hi. Instead of using a cdrw disc, use a cdr disc instead. You won't be
able to write over them more than once, but if you're making an audio cd
you won't want to do that anyways.
Just take all the mp3s you want to burn to a cd and put them in a specific
foldder. Then, go into the folder you
Tell me about CD Architect, what does it do and is it accessible. If it is
a burning program, why would I want to use it rather than Nero?

You will need a program to capture streams. There are several out there including
replay radio, total recorder, and something with a name like recall pro. Each cost a
small amount for a fully functioning program. Gold wav and sound forge will also
allow you to record streams, but their forte
DJC,
Thanks for this one; I will try it. I've heard of it before, but, until
recently, it wasn't much of a priority with me! I guess it is now!
Thanks again,

Total recorder has 2 versions, a standard version which is $13, and a
professional version which is $40. I think

Marty,
Now we're getting somewhere! I just went to the Total Recorder website,
which even gave me some tutorial help on PC Audio, in case anyone's
interested. I will check out that tutorial on Main Menu, as well. I am a
firm believer in Linda Goodman's adage : When the student is ready, the
Hello, Tony,
What the person who did the encoding did was set the bit rate to 32; that is
the reason they got 50 hours of material on one CD in mp3 form. I encode
all the time, and do this for talking books, which is just someone reading a
book anyway. Of course, for music, a much higher rate

CD. That is why at 128 bit rate or slightly higher you can get 200 songs
onto a CD in mp3 form. It might puzzle you a bit until you figure out how
it works. Why it works that way, I don't even know and I mp3 everyday!
