Hi
It depends which output plugin you are using. I use the sqr crossfader
and with this you go to the output in preferences and hit the configure
button for the plugin. It drops you in the device tab and the first item
you tab to is a list box which should contain the list of recognised
cards.
unfortunately it depends on your type of recorder as to what you will buy.
Most take the DVD+r and dvd+rw format. Sony and Philips for example. but
Panasonic and Pioneer for example can record to dvd Ram Dbd-r and dvd-rw
media. I would say if you bought dvd+r media you would have it made but buy

Go to options on the file menu and navigate to the keyboard menu. On this
menu, enable global hotkeys. Arrow down to the last option on the hotkey

Hope this helps.
There is not a defined key for the Microphone. You can go to options and
under the keyboard tab you can define the key you want for the microphone.

Wav out will do the trick.
When you have Wav out Mix selected in the recording controls, you use the
volume and balance sliders and mute check boxes in the playback controls
just like a mixer. In other words, you determine how loud each thing coming
