Hi It depends which output plugin you are using. I use the sqr crossfader and with this you go to the output in preferences and hit the configure button for the plugin. It drops you in the device tab and the first item you tab to is a list box which should contain the list of recognised cards.

unfortunately it depends on your type of recorder as to what you will buy. Most take the DVD+r and dvd+rw format. Sony and Philips for example. but Panasonic and Pioneer for example can record to dvd Ram Dbd-r and dvd-rw media. I would say if you bought dvd+r media you would have it made but buy

Hi Jennifer: Go to options on the file menu and navigate to the keyboard menu. On this menu, enable global hotkeys. Arrow down to the last option on the hotkey list which is mute and unmute microphone. You must be sure you have the latest update in order to have this option. Hope this helps.

Wav out will do the trick. When you have Wav out Mix selected in the recording controls, you use the volume and balance sliders and mute check boxes in the playback controls just like a mixer. In other words, you determine how loud each thing coming through the speakers and the Wav Mix will be.
