Re: Possible consumer issue with USB FM transmitter; all please read; waiting for my r m a or exchange for lousy product
Hi, I am still waiting for my r m a to be sent to me by email. The so called seller of this U S B F M transmitter which is absolutely pure junk has this address: Digital Etcetera P O Box 680, Lehi, Utah 84043. The Better Businiess phone number forthat area is 801 892 6009 and rest assured if you get the incorrectp roduct sent to you--as I did-- you will not appreciate dealing with R Jackson on Ebay. Rick Jackson claims the account was sold and he is not the R Jackson on Ebay and that rma's are processed promptly. - Original Message - From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list. I was assured they ship only version 3 but occasionaly version 2 or 2.5 can be shippedand that is not his fault yetI got version 1 which transmits about 15 feet. Clicking OK closed the program I then moved my sound card into the Non-responding PCI slot and reloaded the software to the soundcard and still nothing Can someone give me a cheep place where I can buy a cheep processor and a cheep motherboard please My E-mail address is at the bottom of this message Thanks in advanced From John and guide dog Iris E-mail Address: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ___ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi, Larry, one question, and that is, can you make a label for an audio cd? pull down your options menu and see if advanced controls are checked in the pull down. Then tab until you see advanced settings. Re: Live365 and having to register???
yes, I think you described the current state of affairs. to listen to Live365, one must register at the site, similar to registering at a newspaper website in order to read that particular paper. when you register, you can choose the preferred media player to listen to Live 365 stations, such as winamp. once you register, Live 365 places a cookie on your computer so your registration information is obtained automatically. some audio streams do this to track listenership, as royalty payments are based on how many listeners are listening to a particular song and how long they listen to the song. We have bill Clinton to thank for this scheme as he signed the digital Millennium copyright Act. also, aggregated listener information allows for better selling of airtime to advertisers. Hi Bruce, I'm using a soundblaster live value card, and in the volume control, when tabbing thru the play control, there is an advanced button. In this dialogue, you can adjust the bass and treble. Could it be because I'm not actually using Creative's drivers? Where do I find Creative's drivers for the SB Live? The creative.com site is a pain in the butt to navigate. I've been playing with Sirius' online player and it is far easier to use. Instead of buttons it has links to each station and the sound quality is excellent. Music composition programs and jaws

Re: Music composition programs and jaws
Hi, Yah, Sibelius is simply fantastic, provided you order and install the Jaws scripts that David Pinto compiled in cooperation with Sibelius. Without them, useless. With them, not only completely transparent, but they also supply a comprehensive and intuitive manual like you'll find nowhere else that not only gets you going in a logical manner, but explains the whys and wherefores of the many visual aspects that we could spend weeks in tiresome questioning of erstwhile musician friends. There are some who'll likely whine at the $300 cost of this add-on, especially when Sibelius itself is about the same price, but lemmee tellya, you'll almost wonder why they didn't charge more! Hi Bruce. On my computer's speaker, the right one, there's a tone control knob, but with another computer I had, I had three knobs, one for volume, and separate knobs for bass and treble.
