you can use the auto trim feature in goldwave to trim out the silences. Just specify how long you want things to be in seconds, then the db threshold of the silence, that takes some trial and error, and then wehther you want the leading or trailing silences to be removed, or both. Sounds

Well, like I said, WMC works well enough from what I've heard. The only reason I didn't bring up PC Speak is because of what Dave said, and that's that it won't work with cable. Pluss I wasn't sure what you wanted to do. As for me, I'll stick with WMC until PC Speak does work with cable perhaps.
