Harold have you clicked the 'customize' button on any folder
window? Right click the toolbar area and see if 98 has a
'customize' area there to click (ME does). Have you just
simply tried to 'drag' the toolbar back 'down'? You know how
you place the cursor right on the edge of the toolbar and

are at least two files on your Win98 partition that control your dual boot
that you will loose when you reformat, boot.ini, ntloader and there may be a

Harold,
Try bringing the mouse to the bottom of the Standard Buttons toolbar
until you get the double arrow. Hold the (left) mouse button down and
drag down slightly. The menu toolbar will appear underneath the Standard
Buttons toolbar. (And quit deleting things!)

Recently I have not been able to access the Windows Update Site. I
tried today to get the security patch for the MS VM that they outlined
in their bulletin and said it was critical. When I access the update
site, I get to the Scan for Updates and the page gets to 66%

option to launch folder windows in a separate process, or
similar to that. This should fix all the folder problems you
describe.
