I think the problem with the question as posed, is that it is so open ended
and non-specific. My "low fat" group is what I'll take on vacation with me,
however when I do go sightseeing or generally taking photos, much of that
will be staying in the hotel room/place that I'm staying.

Juan! You've got it the wrong way around. It's the Leitz lenses that you
should be putting on a Russian body. I wish I could afford an M6. I have

You just have to set the flash to TTL mode... it's a
great combo. A z1p and 280T was my primary setup for
more than a year, never dissapointed me. :)

1) Yes you can use a Pentax flash - and even the RTF - with yout ZX-
Pn for daylight fill-in and it will render nicely balanced results.
The limiting factor is the synch speed - 1/125 s is sometimes too
slow for fill-in since good background exposure would ususally
