The grey wall below the sign doesn't seem to have a corner.
And the palm trees are too skinny and tall to be starting at ground level.
I want some resolution of the scene and keep looking for it.

Today I spent 5 hours wandering the streets of Fremantle with a few

I think that's true, but the alternative may have been worse: a mega

The Valley RAF base in Anglesey has one runway that, even
though it doesn't actually cross the public road, comes up
*right* to the edge, necessitating set of traffic lights to
stop traffic at times.
Apparently the fighter jocks like to set down on the first
few feet of runway if

I hadn't looked at this thread in a while. Clearly the Pentax FF

Got to keep a close eye on threads or they're liable to just wander off

I shot a movie of Grace playing in the snow today with the K7. I have a
magnifier hood for the LCD display which provides a good look and makes manual
focus fairly easy. But since I shot with the DA* 16-50 at f11, focusing wasn't
a priority. Sound and pic are both very nice on my computer. Just

Paul,
You should have iMovie on your iMac. You can edit it there and when your done,
go to Share where you can burn it directly to DVD (using iDVD).

Sounds like a fun day :-)
The closest I ever got to Manchester was a 1-day interview at Jodrell
Bank. As a student in my early 20's, getting that position would have
been akin to a prison sentence. Nowadays, with a camera in hand, I'd
love to live in that countryside. Such is Life.

They've AVI files. Something I never heard of. Apparently, IMovie has never
heard of it as well. I want to be able to burn HD DVDs and watch them on my
plasma monitor. I think the latest version of Toast will let me burn them, but
I have to be able to edit a bit.
