This garden is pretty much self sustaining. The crowding and choice of
aggressive perennials makes weeding almost unnecessary. I wrote an article
about it that has appeared in a bunch of magazines. The protagonist, Erik
Nilsson, Is a pseudonym I sometimes use. (My son's name is Erik

I considered plugging in a sky plate. I have a large collection of them. But I
was hesitant in that the scene is lit by ball-down north light with a southern
sky in the background. Bright background sky normal. But I appreciate your
input, and I'm going to give it a try.

Yes it's one of my faves too. It looks warm but it was actually freezing cold
up there in the mountains. I took a lot of photos within that scene using the
200mm lens, trying to get closeups of the rocks. There was too much contrast
to make them work though.

I was having problems with my K20D and SDHC cards 'til I found out there was a
firmware update to address said problem. I was able to recover files using
Lexar's Image Rescue 4 software. It is free and it worked great for me.
