I've taken numerous workshops from three noted professional outdoor photogs

were 5 days in length in which I was able to totally immerse myself in

Hi Kenneth, glad you took a useful Photo Workshop. Most of them are
just gimmicks to make a fast buck from Beginners - a lot who are happy
with useless basics. things that can be learnt from any (40) year old

I don't know what kind of egret it is, but it looks like what turns up if you
search Flickr for "Snowy Egret". I just call all the little ones Cattle Egrets
because I mostly see them out in fields where there are cows, or steers or
something of the bovine persuasion.

I was finally able to get out with the 600 f/4 to take a few photos. I've still
got a lot to do before it will be fully usable. I've got to find a better
folding cart with bigger wheels than the one I have now ... or maybe a wagon.

I suggest a PDML gathering there, we can check out the options on seeking
permission vs. seeking forgiveness.
By the way, there are some great turtle-sunning-on-logs shots not far up the
trail, and 35 miles or so south is Watkins Glen State Park, a great photo venue.

forthcoming, while forgiveness might not.

Today I heard a well-done presentation by an art history professor, the general
context was Picasso’s animal images, but

What's the worst they could do? Tell you "NO, you can't do that"?
Sometimes it *IS* easier to get permission.

Thanks Adam. My aunt lives in Penn Yan so we are in that vicinity every year or
