This has been my experience as well, Paul, and interestingly enough, I have the
current versions of OX 10 on a 2011 desktop. The desk top runs a tad slow
because I haven’t upgraded the RAM yet, but I have no problem with drivers for
my Epson scanner and printer. I’m also running the current
