and such. I'm not that good at portraits because I don't enjoy doing that
kind of printing. If, however, you have a fine art image you would like

Recently I installed my new Epson 4000. I use it to print Fine Art
Landscapes both in color and B&W. Printing B&W from Photoshop left a lot to
be desired as color shifts were always present, most of the time leaving a
green cast which is ugly in a B&W print. Color was great, but the B&

processed with "Auto" white balance. It was much dacker and much longer

Took another short trip this weekend. This time it was to Zion National Park
in southern Utah. I wanted to get some shots in the Narrows section of the
Virgin River. The link below is to 5 shots I took in or near The Narrows.

It's really pretty simple to set this shot up. I just metered off the rocks
in the middle and set the exposure at f8 1/750 on manual mode to keep each
image the same. This is ½ stop under. I then turned the camera vertical so

Here's one of the last images I made with my 4x5 view camera. This was shot
at the bottom of the Salt River Canyon Gorge northeast of Phoenix Arizona. I

Yes, they are. I have an ist D and use them all the time. Again, set manual
focus, Aperture Priority, stop the lens down and shoot away. Works great.
I have many old screw mount lens I use on my ist D. I set the lens at the
f-stop I want to use and then set the Camera to Aperture Priority and Manual
Focus and shoot away. It meters thru the preset F-stop and gives excellant
results.
