Certainly the ability to examine images under a microscope has had a big part in much of the concern about the K-x and many other cameras of late. As I go back scanning images shot with my many film cameras, I see all kinds of things, that I wouldn't have noticed just from examining proof prints.

By all accounts the K-x, (and I have no direct experience here), has a rather loud shutter, at least compared to the K20D and especially the new K-7. I'll bet that the noise is contributing to the percipient mirror slap problem with certain individuals diligently looking for the problem, which
