The new battery was introduced with the K-7, it's annoying that my K20D uses a different battery than my K-5II. Not as annoying as the control layout differences, when switching between the two, (so much so that I seldom carry the K20D and K-5II together, but more annoying the rest of the

I had planned to wait awhile for the price to drop before buying a K1, but at $1800, I figured, why not now! Ordered from B because they know how to ship cameras and are good when there's a problem. Since I had expected to spend 3K for the K1, this opens the door for the 24-70/2.8 real soon.
