We went to Florida last weekend to retrieve the kids from their Christmas holiday beach vacation with Grandma & Grandpa. (Kids get to go to the beach for two weeks and we have to stay home working until they have to go back to school. Then we get to drive a thousand miles to get them back home.

Hi Dave, I checked the raw file, the metering worked just fine, the Histogram is a Gauss Bell "fat" on the left side and with a small peak on the right side (probably the overexposed face of the guy in the middle). I had to underexpose 1 stop aprox when processing the raw file to the "digital B&W

Thanks for commenting Norm, regarding the second shot, I was debating about your suggested crop when I was processing this one and I didn't crop because I liked the shadows of the two guys talking, but that crop might actually emphasize the reflections better, I end up opting for keeping the shadow

Dave, thanks for the comments, I just let the K10D meter by itself (multipattern metering) but I shot raw so I might have use some of the extra "latency" that the raw process gives me, I don't recall exactly but I let you know once I go back home. I found that the K10D consistenly handles the most
