Same lense, different color?

I have been looking at some 28-200 2.8 ED (IF) lenses. Some are black, some are silver. Is there a difference? Kind regards Kevin -- Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.
