Silkypix.
This is because:
Adobe Bridge/Photoshop CS2/ACR (call it at your leisure) is not up to my
expectations for a good conversion. Too much grain effect at any speed,
especially on a smooth sky, and too much
I own the Sigma EF500 DG Super (PA P-TTL type, 2nd type, I think). I asked
Sigma importers for Italy about its compatibility with the K10D and they
replied no problem, it's compatible and you can use it with your K10D.
So I took all my silliness in my hands and put the damn thing on the K10D

Pictures are almost black at any supported shutter speed and aperture,

That was already evident at Photokina last September, where they were only
promoting the Pentax co-developed lenses. At that time, I was rather
surprised by that.
Now I better understand it all as a re-shaping of their line, something that
Pentax did in 2005-2006 with the infamous Pentax lens

This is a help question for the XP geeks out there. I can no longer print by
any printer since the Spooler SubSystem App. closes down as soon as I switch
a printer on. Even manual starting the spooler in Services doesn't help, as
the Spooler SubSystem App. closes down again immediately.

Boris, like most auto flash do, you have to choose a flash range (e.g. 4-7m)
among those made available on the flash unit (and also manually set the
camera ISO on the flash unit), then you can read which aperture to set on
the lens. If you don't do that, it's at your own risk :-)
