might actually be going live (out of beta)? It's been a while.

Were they sized correctly? They have to be 600 points tall, not 600
points on the long side. That, of course, is at 72 dpi.

My last batch I uploaded seemed to have stayed in that status for the
longest time before finally being declined (almost two weeks I think).

That's interesting. I've had this problem ever since I started uploading
images (I'm uploading and editing with Firefox). The screen always darkens and
locks when I click on the 'Edit Info' link. I found the solution is to right
click on the 'Edit Info' link and then choose Open in new Tab'.
Update: After a week of being ready for review, my photo (the
yellow PESO I posted recently) is now on hold :)

were film shots. They were consistent rejected because of lack of
EXIF data blah blah blah ... even with the scanned... box ticked.
Most of my previous shots that were accepted were film photos--this
happening to anyone
from it before submitting. I do that with the
Save for Web Adobe function in Elements or photoshop.

After weeks/months of being too busy, I'm determined to get out and do
some shooting this weekend and I think the Pentax Gallery has played a
major part in motivating me. Come to think of it, it's having shots
declined by the Gallery that's the biggest motivator.

It will undoubtedly be a while. It's still not working very well.
When I go to my page I get anywhere from two to twenty-four images.
It's a crap shoot. No pun intended. Well, maybe a little pun

Maybe not.:-) Most of my cat shots are of the Nikonious Shootapus variety.
Although i did find a few cougar shots from 2005/6 shot with Pentax gear at GFM

Six out of the 12 I submitted sofar have been 'approved to the gallery'
1 * istD macro (the pearl web)
1 * 67II landscape/travel
1 * MZ-S nature
3 * PZ-1 landscape/travel
I concentrated on the older scanned material sofar.
Saw some amazing work of familar names
