I found this, it's called RAW shell extender, and it's freeware. I'm having fun with the high ISO but I don't expect to do a lot of shooting with it on a regular basis. Just want to make sure I can get decent shots of the wedding. To see thumbnail images for DNGs on XP you want something called a Windows Shell Extension. I don't have my XP system fired up, so I can't see which one I ended up using, and a Google search doesn't bring up anything that looks quite right. The Pentax Digital Camera Utility on the CD is actually not too bad as a RAW converter (and it will read PEFs). It's certainly a class above the crap that came with previous Pentax DSLRs. Of course, if you're happy with the way Elements 5 is handling the DNGs, you don't need it.
