My apologies if this one has been discussed to any degree before, but As mentioned before, I'm getting ready for a trip to Newfoundland in the next couple of weeks. This will be my first trip with the DS, and it got me thinking. All my previous trips have had a slide-based photography based.

I use one of those Portable Hard Discs which are able to download directly from CF to the HD using their internal battery. One example is the Xdrive pro (IIRC)... give it a look, it worth it's money, what's the point of having a digital camera when you cannot shoot freely because of CF space?
