Actually, in the old days =mid-sixties' WA weren't exactly great performers. When you multiplied their faults x 2 + added the faults of the teleconverter you got rather soft pictures. But like a lot of the photographic rules we seem to be slaves to it doesn't much apply to today's equipment.

In my opinion - yes I do these cards (Photographer's Edge) all the time. I use a 3 to 4 year old Epson Stylus Photo and their 4 X 6 photopaper. I have my significant images scanned to a Photo CD, use Photoshop 5.0 to size and color correct. Not counting ink and scanning, my costs are under $1.50

The BG10 has an arm that goes up into the battery compartment. You have to remove the CR2 batteries to mount the BG10. I found that most any Pentax remote will work with the BG10. I have a Pentax 90WR remote that works, and a remote off an IQzoom that works with the BG10. I bought mine extra,
