Re: PESO: On the beach, Encino 1981
Thanks Igor. I’m fairly certain that it’s the northwest end of the Malibu Beach. A lot of rock formations there, and I was probably working in Encino, and that’s why the Kodachrome box is labeled Encino. Malibu, of course, is directly west of Encino, although there are some minor mountains in between. In any case, that’s my theory and I’m sticking to it. :-) Paul > On Oct 14, 2016, at 5:24 PM, Igor PDML-StR wrote: > > > Nice, movie-escue image. HAR! And I've been complaining about clerks tell me that "the computer does not allow me"... Those damn computers will be writing their own postings to PDML soon. ;-) That rock formation got me thinking if it was "Dog Beach", between Del Mar and Encinitas: https://goo.gl/sp677J But it doesn't seem to be the case. Encinitas is about 1 hour south of LA (depending on the traffic). Sorry, while I am very familiar with San Diego's vicinities, I don't know the coastal line near LA that well to recognize this place.
