I don't think there's much difference between waterproofness in "inexpensive" cameras Pentax/Ricoh vs Olympus.  The build quality will probably be about the same.  The only actual underwater camera that I would trust implicitly is the Nikon AW1.  Then again it's almost $1000 for the two lens ki

Pentax used to have a whole line of these, but it looks like Ricoh has rebranded them as Ricoh and limited selection to just one model in two colors. https://us.ricoh-imaging.com/index.php/cameras/wg-50 JIS Level 8 seals good to 14 meters. There's a review from shutterbug here. https://www.s

Thanks you Mark< Paul, Mike Stan and John for your comments and advice. Thanks, Stan, for the offer, but I don't think I would give a friend a used camera. I'm old-fashioned about things like that. What is the current model? How much better is the WG-5 than the WG-3? Dan Matyola http://www.pen

The WG series pretty much fits the bill. The latest, I believe it is the WG 50. I recommended an earlier WG to my ex-wife, and even she likes it. https://us.ricoh-imaging.com/index.php/cameras/wg-50 -p On Dec 4, 2017, 11:24 AM -0600, Mark Roberts , wrote: > Daniel J. Matyola wrote: > > > I am
