I don't think there's much difference between waterproofness in
"inexpensive" cameras Pentax/Ricoh vs Olympus. The build quality will
probably be about the same. The only actual underwater camera that I
would trust implicitly is the Nikon AW1. Then again it's almost $1000
for the two lens ki

rebranded them as Ricoh and limited selection to just one model in two
colors.

I have the WG-3 and WG-5. Haven’t used either much underwater, but then I
haven’t been underwater that much.

The WG series pretty much fits the bill. The latest, I believe it is the WG 50.
I recommended an earlier WG to my ex-wife, and even she likes it.
