Hi bert1e
I'm glad you like it. :)
Yes, username and password need to be added when calling the script.
(i.e. --user= --passw=) If you call the script without
any parameters you should get a list of valid parameters.
Cheers

Hmm I just had a thought would putting a username and password on

Thanks for the reply. Must be something I am doing wrong :( Maybe its a
combination of things. I recently changed my screen
saver to the weathertime plugin so maybe its causing a conflict.
Also rebooted everything and ended up with a different IP on the
squeezebox.
Its a great plugin btw I have

Hi,
I use slimscrobbler to submit what my squeezebox plays into my last-fm
profile. However, I also use it to play 'dodgy' music that the Mrs

make me look like an 80's disco diva :-)
Is there a command line type mechanism to te
I just upgraded my 6.5 install to the latest nightly and saw deprecation

plugin, but these should probably make it into your codebase:

Not sure if
Possibly, although I'm quite sure SS isn't realy that active on the
disk.
Anyway, problem solved by updating SS to latest nigthly 6.5.
Everything is running smooth now, so I guess it was a bug in SS
(as my initial thought was, because the other prog acted the same)
Thanks for all the help guys.

Got it sorted out, thanks. I had an earlier version in a separate
folder called Plugins within the Plugins folder. Must have been a
messy manual install earler. Thanks for your help!

Hi bert1e
I've just checked the script (although with SS 6.5b) and it seems to be
fine. And no, the default port for CLI has not changed, as long as you
haven't changed it in SlimServer. Are you sure you have written your
player name correctly. (It's case sensitive btw)
Hope this helps

The easiest way would to delete the Alien folder in Plugins. The
slimserver-convert.conf and custom-types.conf files in the server
folder should be replaced by a new install.
Assuming the problem is related to versions, any idea how the wrong
version got installed ? Did an upgrade fail ?

Do I just remove the Alien folder, or are there more files I must
delete?

I'm not sure what you mean by "it doesn't load in the player section"
I don't have an XM id so I can only give general advice. Enabling
logging with d_plugins and looking at the log will give some idea of
what is happening when selecting a station and where XMRadio is
failing.
Although XMRadio
A Launchcast plugin would certainly appeal to me. Although I have
thought about the problem, I have not been able to get anything to
work. Your analysis seems sound.
At the moment I use Winamp to stream Launchcast to Slimserver/SB3, but
a plug-in would be the ultimate.
