So I had a title format 'X/Y KBPS BUFFER' which was parsed fine in 4.2. X/Y has been broken. I had to replace it with X_Y, as the slash was considered a tag separater by the format parser. Please update to the latest 4.3.1 and change your format to use X_Y instead of X/Y. This should fix

Misread fping as ftping. The SC Network test is best indicator as it from the SC app to the SB but from your description it seems unlikely. Securty s/w can affect playing files - I don't think it should affect WaveInput unless it has some checks on inter application/networking communication.

Wavinput does not send anything on the network unless you using network pipes to send from one PC to another ? Assuming CD is connected to SPDIF input on the same PC that is running SC, then Waveinput just copies PCM data from a device which has a recording capability and streams them as a WAV

You have to install the lyrics applet. It's like a separate plugin, and you will need to rename the plugin directory so it doesn't duplicate/overwrite the existing plugin. You then have to install it on the controller. Download link and instructions are here:

an ftp test is not the same as a SB Network test. FTP can tolerate errors and recovery of a few packets having to be retransmitted - so you get 100% at a good speed but no indication of packet delays. SB needs a stream of packets to arrive reliably within a short time frame especially with Flac.

FYI - I just wanted to note that if you have tagged lyrics in your files, you don't need the plugin or applet. You can just go to song info from now playing and then browse to Lyrics. They won't be karaoke style, though... you'll have scroll manually. -- MeSue Sue
