I have SqueezeCenter 7.3.3 and successfully used the FindArt extension
on a couple of test albums. Then got busy for a week or so with other
things to do. Came back to SqueezeCenter with some spare time, thought

BBCiPlayer plugin uses the standard convert.conf file that comes with SC
and there is a AAC->Flac entry in the standard convert.conf file.
I think the problem is in Inguz.

Can the respective coders improve integration between BBCiPlayer and the
Ignuz DSP?
Ignuz appears to generate its own custom-convert.conf with entries for
every player, identified by MAC address, to initiate the DSP stage.

Lets try changing the bat file to:
java -jar -Xmx512m BJJ.jar
This should leave a dos window up. When you get the error do not close
the window but lets look at the dos window to see if any exceptions are
showing up there.

There is a currently a bug in FW 7330, which prevents the applet from
running (https://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=13776).
As long as this isn't fixed, follow these steps:
- upload applet as usual
- download /usr/share/jive/jive/utils/log.lua

running on a fedora core linux box without issue. What version of java

I made a symlink of cdda2wav to the SqueezeCenter/B
If anyone knows how-to we should get this applet under some sort of
version control so we can make sure that we don't overwrite each others
changes.
Funny how such a small piece of software can make your life a bit
easier. :)

linux one - so suspect you are using windows?
If you want to use wma streams for live streaming, then you could also
use the BBC streams which are part of the Other radio streams menus

I would personally prefer if we had the option to choose streams in
future versions - since I generally listen to "talk" stations (Five Live
and Sports Extra) the super fast startup time is of much greater value
than slightly better audio quality. Of course, those that listen

0.7 uses WMA for the live streams, 0.9 uses FlashAAC which are
potentially better quality but may take longer to start up due to
additional transcoding.
Favorite issues for 0.9 should be fixed with 7.4 when it is released.
I will look at falling back to wma if aac can't be played for live

0.7 works great for me. I take back what I said about radio startup
taking less than 2 seconds - it's less than 1! :)

Generally it is hard to run the commands manually with the correct set
of environment variables which only happen after a login. Using "su" is
not enough - you have to login as the user which runs Sc.

Transcoding should work fine on leopard / snow leopard. Its only low
powered nas's which don't have the cpu power to transcode. Can you try
the aac stream Bryan posted above to prove whether that plays when you
add it into the tune in entry on the web home page.

I would expect a response like

I don't think there is AAC support on ReadyNas - the BBC streams need to
be transcoded and I think the ReadyNas is not powerful enough to do it.
Check WebUI Settings/FileTypes/ AAC - if they are all greyed out then
there is no support.

different places. I suggest you remove all versions and prove that you
can't see the plugin at all (in the player menu or web page), then
