Nice improvements! I had disabled Spotty Ogg Vorbis because of the
volume change from re-converting to PCM/FLAC. I've updated to this
4.5.0 and seeking is working very well. Thanks for this awesome Spotty
plugin, Michael!
Most of the work was done by Philippe!

What exactly was improved with Spotify Ogg Direct streaming? Seeking
improvements, or something else?
Yes, native seeking. Previosly Spotty would switch to PCM when seeking,
sometimes causing a change in volume level. Plus I believe previously
embedded non-standard meta data in the Ogg

How is this new support for Spotify Autoplay different from a player's

Autoplay is working in Connect mode, DSTM in LMS mode.

Hi,
Not sure this is the correct place to post, the request is can the audio
from BBC TV services be made available to play via LMS?
I ask in this thread, because the BBC iplayer and BBC sounds use the
same login/account, so in my simplistic mind perhaps the TV audio could
be made available
Unlikely to be an iPeng issue but you can check by using the regular LMS
web interface.
If it fails there then enable logging on plugin.bbcsounds and post the
output in BBC sounds thread.
If it only fails when being initiated from iPeng then will need some
iPeng diagnostics but I don't remember

Have been using iPeng, RaspberryPI/piCorePlayer, BBC Sounds plugin with

I am getting a 'Connect timed out' each time I go for 'Stations &

Thanks Craig. I guess you make a rod for your own back when the plugin
is feature-rich - so many variables...

That looks strange. I am also using the light mode and the text is dark
here. Did you test a page refresh already?

Hi Craig
I tend to cycle through dark/light displays as the mood takes me. I am
currently in 'light display' mode which works fine for me with the
exception of the way that information is displayed under Album in 'Show
current track information' - see attached. Can the text be darkened for

Must admit, I was starting to think the problem might be elsewhere. I've
done 'systemctl daemon-reload' and 'service logitechmediaserver

I booted up a Pi and I think there is something else happening not just
the name quoting - possible the need to reload init.d after edits.
I can't do more until later today.

I appreciate what you're saying, and your help, but I have to work with
what I've got! I'm no techie so seeing where it's failing is beyond me!
Also ... which shell is it being run under when being initiated from the
startup process?

Picky but with well defined syntax. I'm surprised the backslash didn't
work. As it is picky, the best way to approach is NOT trial and error
but finding out the result of each

I'm trying different things out, trial and error, simply because - as
you say - it's picky.

The escaping mechanism can be picky - your 2nd example show you used
character back tick *`* and not single quote *'* -
