, if multiple Artist tags exist? This was not easy to track down ... TagRename (my normal tagging tool) only shows the first Artist tag ... I discovered the existence of more than one Artist tag when I used MP3Tag to look at the tags. -- Jon

I bet this might be the culprit ... is it possible that having a non-empty Album Artist tag is causing Moose some heartburn? -- Jon

Artist tag (rather than an entry of Various Artists) is because of some past weirdness in SlimServer related to WMA tags (did I mention that my files are WMA Lossless files?), having to do with the Album Artist tag for compilation albums. -- Jon

, it worked fine but seemed to be showing me all artists on compilation albums even though I have SlimServer set to group compilation albums together and list albums by band (and have the compilation tag set in my WMA files). -- Jon
