For v0.5.0 I've ported most of the official app's menus to the Spotty
plugin. Head over to the Settings and enable the experimental Spotty
menu. It has a confusing resemblance with the official Spotify menu.
Only the label seems to be different. But under the hood it's completely

v0.3.0 adds metadata lookup to the plugin's protocol handler. This cuts
one more tie-in with the old implementation. Just in case :-).

Is there any way to get a log or error console output from this
application? I changed the server. Now it doesn't show any status for
the selected player (no artwork, playtime = nil, no track information

Ok, I think there has been a lot of confusion around the "Artists" menu.
Users were reporting empty or incomplete menus. Now it seems that
Triode's plugin implemented those features all locally, eg. the artists
you added to your library were only stored in the plugin's prefs, but
not on Spotify.
Oh... I have to enter the player's MAC address manually? It does
discover the server automatically, but not the player...
Unfortunately I don't get the album artwork shown. There's the slideshow
on the right hand side ok, as is the list of upcoming tracks.

I had to change the bitrate display because I only know what bitrate is
being used once I got the http headers of the stream. Before that I only
whether it's flac or mp3. Previously I would simply show some static
number. Now it's really calculating file size devided by seconds.

Qobuz 1.250 is on its way. There's a new option available... to enable
playback of hires flac. Just pick the streaming format you want from
mp3/320, flac, and flac hires (whatever the highest they offer for a
track).
