yes, if by standard, you mean a radio that is DLNA/UpNP capable.

I'm so happy, Michael you're a king !
After succeeding in solving the issue related to Spotty, I could not
connect my radio to LMS.
But Michael found immediately the solution : add Philippe 44's LMS to
UPnP plugin to my LMS. And that's it. Now, my radio is recognized as a

As I said that's already possible (though not great) using LMS.

old version. doesn't work any more. Spotty
By the way, another question :
On my LMS (version 7.7.6-116), there is already a spotify plugin (which
I unchecked, to avoid any interference with Spotty).
But what is it for ? I couldn't find any way to configure it or use it.

Michael, maybe this functionnality can be added to spotty ? Delivering a
spotify playlist as a raw mp3 stream; on a URL http://x/.mp3 so
that it can be played via any internet radio hardware.

This is all possible, but not with just any random internet capable
radio. You are best with a player that emulates a squeezebox. This is
easy enough to get via using an rPi running
I've got a radio that can connect to the URL of an internet radio, or to
the local audio files of my local network.
So I had the idea to find a way to listen my Spotify playlists on this
radio.
You could actually try to tune in to http://yourlms:9000/stream.mp3. But
this will not be
No, I don't have a Squeezebox radio. I've got a radio that have wifi and
possibilities like connecting to an internet radio, connectiong to my
phone to play my mp3, connectiong to a media server to play files, etc.
And I'm trying to find a solution to play my spotify playlist on this
radio.

Maybe you're right, but I guess that this could be very close.

But another weird issue : The Informations tab mentions that the Plugins
directory is : /volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/Plugins
But when I go to /volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/ , there is no Plugins
directory available !
Create it if it isn't there. The LMS managed plugins are stored

I found your answer here :

But another weird issue : The Informations tab mentions that the Plugins

(v7.7.6, 1452060463, Thu Jan 21 02:17:04 UTC 2016) perl 5.024000
Check out Settings/Information: what IO::Socket::Version are you using?
It might be outdated (your LMS is more than four years old!).

I waited for several minutes.
But there's a timeout while downloading : I found some logs :
[20-06-07 23:09:09.4791] Slim::Utils::PluginManager::disablePlugin (516)
Can't disable plugin: RadioTime - 'enforce' set in install.xml
[20-06-07 23:09:09.4795] Slim::Utils::PluginManager::disablePlugin
Why does the Spotty plugin is in this "plugin update available" section,
and seems to never want to leave it ?
Because installation failed. Did you wait the minute I suggested before
restarting?
You can enable logging for server.plugins to get more information about
what is going on.

The version is 7.7.6-116
The server.log doesn't show anything relevant. Maybe I should configure
one of the categories to a more detailed log ?

There are different steps to use a plugin.
1) installing the plugin
2) making the plugin active, ie loading it
3) configuring the plugin.
2 basically is 1. Or they're the same.
What LMS version are you using? Older versions had some issues
installing larger plugins. Eg. don't immediately

I first just installed the spotty plugin, but the result was the same :
the plugin cannot be activated.
As my CPU is a x64 Intel, I thought I should add the arch 64, but this
