I am using a stupidely contrived ALSA config on squeezelite players and
it is locked to 16/44.1.
Squeezelite reports maxrate 44100, this works for audio files but not
for iPlayer.
Currently when I send an iplayer stream to a player, I hear a short
squeaky sound and then the machine crashes complet

different microphone mix supposed to be like at a concert.

I think it's clearer to say 1.4.10 doesn't work reliably on non ancient
versions of Windows. It worked absolutely perfectly for me on WHS v1
(which is Server 2003 / Win XP based).

It is of course DASH encapsulated FLAC.

In anticipation of Proms and more testing of Flac over DASH - I wanted
to make sure all users on the latest Flac supporting V1.5.4 version as
it is likely changes/fixes may be necessary

As a sop after killing off the APIs which provides programme info per
station and genre, the BBC left two APIs which provides info on
programmmes by title and by genre but it

Previously, with the iPlayer Extras plug-in, it was possible to listen
to any programme still residing in the BBC archives, e.g. the entire
back catalogue of The Moral Maze or Dessert Island Discs, for inst

What do you mean by a "legacy" programme - please give examples &
details ?
The process depends on how you found the programme and can be very
convoluted.

This is a major disappointment a I used this more than anything else via
BPA's iPlayer plug-in.

iPlayer Extras is deceased, it is no more. The BBC removed the meta data
