No, as mentioned in the latest announcement (

Pippin,
How are you? I havent been on the forums for a while. Lately Spotify
has caused me major issues and now ipeng a minor one.
I was very used to the older classic ipeng look and function. I always
liked it better than the newer version and it was always available as an
app. Now, since

Ikabob,
He is asking why you are asking if there is a Spotify plugin, when this
is the thread for the current spotify plugin.

Hallo Michael

I very much appreciate the work on keeping squeezebox alive.
Due to repeating annoyances of the official synology LMS package (vs
7.7.6) I was looking around, and found this version.
I have installed it manually on my ds213air, and it worked immediately.
Nevrtheless I have 3 questions:
-
I've been doing some testing, using the custom-convert.conf command
lines - as suggested by Michael, though not using Spotify.
This sox section of the command line seems to work. It accepts piped in
pcm and pipes out wav.

Hi, I don't know what I do wrong, but I can't find any Spotty app, only
the Spotty Helper TEST Application for Mac (v0.2.0)
Using LMS 7.9.1 on my Macbook Pro with OS X El Capitan, and Safari 11.

Just tested this before I saw your message and indeed it works again
after I disabled flac transcoding for Spotty. I'm not sure how I would

Could be I don't understand correctly, but do you mean you opened port
4070 from WAN to LAN (incoming)? That's a rather huge security hole,
isn't it?

I feel the tests I've done have very much been the blind leaving the
blind. :o
Just in case there is an obvious solution - these notes might be
useful:
>From what I can see, the spotty output is PCM.
Inguz expects the input to be wav.
So the task is to convert the spotty pcm output to wave.

Lame is only needed for downsampling a mp3-stream. It is not needed for
MP3 playback!
Lame is included in the DSM5 packages of the

Michael,
I know nothing about custom-convert.conf or sox so even attempting this
is beyond me. Forum user 'JohnB' has been kind enough to try comming up
with something but he's working blind. He doesn't subscribe to Spotify
so it's all trial and error. Thank you JohnB for trying this out.
Everything works fine for some time but after a while playback stops and
the connection to LMS is stopped. I need to restart the LMS to get back
to a responsive & normal state.
Could it be the spotty helper application crashed? Next time this
happens, can you try to log in to the box and check

Thinking about it a bit, it ought to be possible to connect the output

Yes, that's working indeed. I played with this long before I implemented
content browsing for Spotty. There's one major issue,

Not to detract from the great work you have done to develop spotty, but
it wasn't initially clear that spotify connect wasn't implemented. It's

Unfortunately I still have the same problem with an i686 Synology
Server: Spotty and Soundcloud are playing, but with Mixcloud the menus
with cover etc. are working, but playback fails. It starts with
"Streaminfo loading" and then comes "stopped"!
