Hmmm, that was pretty much it after I filtered for "spotty" in the log.
What I did now:
- deactivate Spotty -> restart
- activate spotty -> restart
The log is too big to paste here, so I put it in the attachments.
Thanks a lot

You might need to use the Local Player plugin where Squeezelite then
acts as a software player. Then you set up a Touch to use that player
(Squeezelight). Then start a playlist from your android Spotify app, see
to it that the screen of the phone goes dark, and now when the song
plays you use the

I've managed to narrow this problem down. And it's now repeatable. I'm
using the Local player plugin and Squeezelite is the player and the
selectable device, I then also use a Touch as UI (for having a hardware
remote) - the Touch uses Squeezelite as the player. Now, I found out
that the problem
right now spotty takes the first song from the queue and plays it over
and over.
That's not visible from your log snippet. I see three track changes. I
think the repeating could happen if you tried to start playback from
withing LMS after a restart. Could this be the case?

I see in the Microsoft Store telemetry there are 529 installed devices
so far across 340 users for Squeezelite-X. I don't know if that count
includes all installs or just those from machines that report it based
on their privacy settings. That is still more than I ever expected. I
wonder how
I can't seem to set up an install of Ubuntu 18 so the mmserver starts
before LMS. I used to use Boot Up Manager to do this (so Music IP starts
before LMS)but it does not seem to be available for 18.04.
Does anyone have MusicIP working with 18.04? Right now I am testing

I just purchased the Hegel H190 and was thrilled to learn about

I managed to get it to work but unfortunately, the relationship between
the Hegel renderer and LMS frequently disappears. This can happen when

On the UPnP/DLNA bridge settings page there is an option to enable the
log (a tick box) and next to that is a link to view it. From the view
you can copy it to a post on

Now I've had the chance to test the Connect feature on Windows a bit.
I'm experiencing a few glitches. Starting a playlist from the Android
Spotify app using Connect by selecting my device starts the playlist
fine but every now and then a song stops in the middle and I have to
restart it. At one

Sorry, I missed that and can't find it. I have an developer token for my

Well, Spotify actually did break Spotty a few weeks ago.

Yes, it's enabled. It's been enabled for quite a few weeks and it has
been working as in my device being detected. But maybe two weeks ago it
stopped being detected. I did recheck to ensure it is being enabled for

The only thing not working is the Connect feature, and I'm using it from
my android Spotify app which is also where I expect the Spotty instance
to show up, but there's only my Bluetooth speaker and the phone itself
that shows up as selectable devices.
And you did enable Connect for your player
