LMS has been working all day without missing a beat and really happy . One possible issue is that every time I add a couple of CD's and request LMS to read and copy just new files it seems to go through a full rescan . Only happened today with two sets of additions will see when I make my next upload of new music what happens then report the issue if it persists. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: AirPlay Bridge = integrate AirPlay devices with LMS (squeeze2raop)
Just activated the Airplay bridge to stream to my Liberatone Zipp 2. All seems fairly OK. Just a few glitches that I've read about above such as occasional max vol on commencement. But everytime I start or restart LMS I get the message in the pic below. 27652 I'm running 7.9.1 but this issue occurs on even the most recent versions. I haven't tweaked the parameters of the airplay plugin in LMS simply generated a config file and ticked the activate box. Should I just leave it and put up with this message each time, or is there an issue that needs addressing? +---+ |Filename: airplay issue.jpg| |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=27652| +---+ chopinhauer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32453 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105198 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I does switch on the power amplifier when the SB3 is switched on with the group, but it does not switch off the power amplifier when the SB3 is switched off with the group. I'm using the Music and Information Plugin with the Material Skin. I've been updating my artist pics and to get them to reload in the native skin I just delete the imageproxy and delete the cache from Chrome. However this doesn't seem work with the Material Skin and the artist pics aren't updated. What am I missing? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Max2Play Webinterface for Mediaclients (Audioplayer, Squeezeserver, Airplay, XBMC)
I have downlaoded the new BETA image today and installed it in a Rapsberry Pi 4 4GB unit . Download and flashing were all straight forward with no issues . Having found the ISP for the RPi 4 was able to open up the max2play inteface straight away . I would reccomend to all before going any further SSH in to the Raspberry Pi (root - pi - password - max2play) and cut and paste this to the action line sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade -y Even though I am sure Heiner has used the latest download he could there are often nightly updates and it always helps to have the very latest version of the os . Then using the max2play online page it is easy to mount your USB drive , install and activate LMS and then go in and set up your plugins and and changes to LMS that you favour. My Library is 50049 tracks and intial scan took just over 17 minutes which is a little faster than the Pi3 + but not a huge amount . After this it is all good so far music was playing within an instant once I hit play LMS is now much faster and smoother and more responsive. I may be mad but I also feel the sound has improved and sounds more stable and solid but that could be me fooling myself but I will take any sound improvement on music I can get .All things considered I must congratulate Heiner I am sure there will be issues but for the main thingh that I use this software for it has been a perfect performance up to now . Music is playing as I type this and has been just playing without issue for about an hour. I have used the following plu ins , Radio Paradise , BBC iPlayer Live Listen, Material Skin all without any issues and so far working as they should. I for one am delighted this has made the user perfomance of LMS as good as I always wanted it to be and there may well be inprovements in this as Heiner and others get to grips with all that the Pi 4 has to offer . :o System - Concordant Exhilirant Valve Pre , SBT Triode EDO,Toolbox 3.0 , Theta Data Basic II Transport , Perpetual Technology P-1a,P-3a,Anti Mode 2.0 Dual Core,Krell KSA50 MK 1 . bencat's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=54878 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101856 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Looks like you need a more recent LMS (recent 7.9.2) - maybe as a result of upgrading the plugin recently. [SlimDevices: Plugins] AirPlay Bridge - Volume settings - sometimes starting extremely loud, sometimes silent
Hi I Have a Libratone Zip mini 2 and a Yamaha receiver, both AirPlay 2. Sometimes, when I start playing to either, the sound is extremely loud (mainly on the receiver) or nearly silent. It occurred only when the players were in standby, and not when they were on. Is there a setting I could adjust to avoid this? Thanks, Rainer -- Rainer M. Actually, the covers on the other items -might- be a Material issue. When parsing the response, if using a grid and some items have images and others not, I set the image for the others to the parent image (in this case the album cover). Perhaps I should remove that? And instead if there are a mix of image and no-image items, then force a list? cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Max2Play Webinterface for Mediaclients (Audioplayer, Squeezeserver, Airplay, XBMC)
Hello Slimdevices Community, We just released a beta image based on the new Raspbian Buster release for the Raspberry Pi 4B models. You can 'download the free image' (https://www.max2play.com/en/max2play-image/) from our website right now. This new beta is compatible with all Raspberry Pis and the LMS 7.9 nightly. In connection with the new release, we also have a global update for all Max2Play Raspberry systems to Max2Play 2.50. For an overview of all the changes and improvements in this update, head to our 'Change Log' (https://www.max2play.com/en/changelog-max2play/). We appreciate all feedback on this new image, either here in this topic or in our 'Forums' announcement thread' (https://www.max2play.com/en/forums/topic/announce-new-max2play-image-for-raspberry-pi-4/). Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] New plugin for audio bookmarks
Hi, good to see that you find an angle to resolve that error. I try to reduce the bookmark size but that doesn't help. If you need someone to test, give me a beta repository link (if you can create that) and I can check your new bookmark if its available. I know that's hard to fix something if you cannot see the error. And in additional, I understand that you need time to fix it and thanks again to take a look. Hmmm... But whay are they shown? Is this *not* a local album listing? Is it from Spotty? It's from Qobuz. Is there anyway for Material to know which ones are tracks, and which are not? Becasue, in the case of this list, I don't thnink a grid should be used, and th enon-track items should not have a cover. I wouldn't waste my time with a corner case like this. I'd need to see the LMS response to the album listing request. Please do the following: - Start LMS in a desktop browser using "http://SERVER:9000/material/desktop?debug=json; (replace SERVER with your LMS's hostname, or IP address) - Open your browser's developer tools - In the developer tools, go to the 'Console' tab - Using Material navigate to the list where the album is shown, but do *not* click on the album just yet - In your browser's console tab, click the clear icon (might look like a trash can). This is to remove the logging of the current messages (as not interested in those) - Now click on the ablum, to show the list in your image - The console tab should now show the request for the track list, and LMS's response. Please respond to this threead with those. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
