Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.8.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
When I say it works fine, I meant the usual minor issues or annoyances. I would like to get this working more reliably. Currently I have LMS disabled because of the continuous command prompt window popups. I noticed some others had some token issues as well on windows. Hmm... I have no idea what that could be. If you manage to take the event on video we might get to see what actually happens in those windows before they disappear again. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.8.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
The LMS server is also a media center PC running Kodi this is why all the command pop ups and Spotty.exe crashes make the problem amplified as this is the on my main TV. skarragallagher's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65298 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110455 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I would like to get this working more reliably. Currently I have LMS disabled because of the continuous command prompt window popups. I noticed some others had some token issues as well on windows. I did check the firewall and nothing is blocked, in fact the firewall is turned off completely. On further inspection, I noticed that even when not in "Spotify Connect" mode that everything that I do within Spotty through the web browser UI (browsing and finding something to play) pops up a command prompt window over my web page which quickly goes away. This is certainly new behavior. It seemed to only do this before when I actually starting the LMS server and now it does it for everything. I would appreciate any help determining what is causing this and what we can do to fix it? skarragallagher's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65298 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110455 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
I just submitted Version 2.4.14 to the MS Store Changes: - I fixed a problem involving a PC with multiple network adapters. Before, when a computer has multiple adapters, SLX (actually the OS) might use the "wrong" one when doing server discovery. In this case server discovery would not find any servers. Now, I have added code to enumerate all the adapters and figure out the correct one and what it's subnet is using. Then use that as the broadcast destination so the OS will choose the correct adapter. I experienced this problem because have Oracle Virtualbox, which creates a virtual adapter that was interfering with server discovery. Works great! Thanks for the quick response. I'm pretty sure almost no-one else is using the Classic skin :-) Not sure, tbh! I actually wonder whether those users reporting failure to authenticate with the Spotify app actually were running Classic or any other non-default skin. As the semi-automatic authentication in those cases did indeed behave incorrectly. Thanks for testing! When I submitted it, the site crashed and I didn't think it actually got submitted. Then I could not get back into the site to check. A few days later, after I cleared my browser cache, I got back into the site, and it told me that it was not published, but it actually was. Anyway, I think .13 fixed a bug with password authentication. In my zeal to take advantage of server discovery, in .12 I had introduced a bug, where if the password was incorrect on the default skin, SLX would not detect it if the server was previously discovered using the discovery protocol. .13 will also automatically discover a server and give the player a name and connect all up on fist run, so a new user can be up and running without going into settings. I'm about to submit .14, which I will describe in the next post. Thanks Michael. I did that. There was no sign of anything in the server.log running the utility. Could you please download this modified version: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4paa32xst7jtggy/findspotifyfolderfiles.zip?dl=0 Extract and run it. For Material 1.1 I'm planning on embedding LMS's settings screens into a iframe, and modifying some of the CSS to make it look -slightly- more consistent. Everything seems to be OK apart from Spotty's settings. For the embedded settings pages, I'm using the classic skin - as it fits the overall look better. Yes all are connected to the LMS. I had two accounts, one the main Spotify account and one my son. I wanted te remove me (the main account ) but than both account are deleted. I than re-installed my (the main account) account and now it works again. Am I to assume that Spotify connect only works with one account active? and is it correct that if No, but once a player has been used by user A, it might disappear from user B's Spotify. Unless local discovery is working correctly. you have Spotify Family that account must be the main account? I think they're all considered equal.
