Thanks, I'm akready aware of the HD possibility. Here's the quoted spec
for streaming to an Echo:
https://developer.amazon.com/docs/custom-skills/audioplayer-interface-reference.html#audio-stream-requirements.
No FLAC and max 384K

I know groups would be the normal way to do multi device, but seeing as
how this is from one device per say I was hoping I could specify
multiple outputs.
I think it would be possible on Linux, not sure about Windows, but
seeing as how it allows output to STDOUT, I wonder if I can pipe that
into

I have noticed for some time now that I need to restart the LMS-server
(which runs 24x7) usually before I can see the player in my Spotify-App
on my Android-phone.
Check your phone's Spotify app, make sure it doesn't "show local players
only" or similar.

Not via the AudioPlayer interface they wont. Either Amazon has upped

Currently, the Amazon-supported formats for the audio file include
AAC/MP4, MP3, PLS, M3U/M3U8, and HLS. Bitrates: 16kbps to 384 kbps.

Is there a way to specify multiple outputs with the -o flag?
I know I could run multiple instances and group them, but it's on a PC
that has multiple soundcards and I want it to play to both at the same
time. If I specify -o x -o y then it only plays to the latter.
The new code is in a test branch in Daniel's Github.
If all goes well it should be out soon.
Brave souls can probably find it and try it themselves but for most it
should appear as an available update over the coming days (if testing
shows it has resolved the issue for those that have one).

I am not a python expert, but I think you need to post this webform to
the music IP webserver (similar to the way you got your mixes, but this
time posting). The field "root" contains the location which should be
searched for new music.

Today I re-enabled the skill. Fired up ngrok and started using the
stream commands with a newly acquired Echo Flex that is paired with a
set of in ceiling Bluetooth speakers in my newly refurbished bathroom.
Nice! This works really well!!!
The only downside I can see that would stop me from

Well, they're not mandatory, just very strongly advised. Whether you do
or do not use them, the form entries will always need to reflect what
you actually use.
I wanted to upgrade the Fedora machine on which LMS was running and in
order to avoid the usual perl stuff, decided to use a docker image
instead.
The installation went well and LMS is up and running (version 7.9.2 -
1572699180).
I then installed the UPnP/DLNA bridge (version 1.25.0) but it

Yes, it can be flaky. But the "transfer playback" feature is incomplete

You are right, it does, certainly for TV anyway. Hence I am adding the

Interesting - good that I have not replaced the old code but simply
added an alternative if the first fails.

Returning after a period away from the PC, sometimes I see multiple
error pop-ups "squeezelite-win.exe (SLX-player-name) aborted. Check
Squeezelite Parameters", which I can't correlate to any particular
activity.
I see this for both the portable headphone DAC/amp plus my sound card
players.
I was wondering, when you use the 'Transfer Playback' feature, what
routing is taking place? I can think of 2 possibilities:
I try to get from Spotify what currently is playing. Then I try to start
the same on a SB.
That feature is really old, pre-dates the Connect feature in Spotty. And

- limit player name length in Connect mode - long names could make
players disappear from the players list in Spotify
- improved logging for some podcast issues: some podcasts cannot be
