Yep that's the default, the problem with it as I remember from a couple
of weeks ago is the big pop up that wants you to select Hifiberry or
iQuaudio (as it was in my case). I tried it and got in such a tangle

As well as LMS (which I am really pleased with, especially the work and

try and learn.
Currently I run MoOde Audio Player with Spotify-Connect

you should have a red led by the usb power input for the rpi board
Right, so the player is selected in the LMS web gui (max2play) and you
have selected a radio station or file and have that playing.
from the LMS web gui go to settings>player>select the dac that is
playing>audio from the dropdown> volume at 100%>click apply and check

Well I know that Google Chrome supports flac now, so they may be next on

I think the BBC is really biased to Mac (especially mobile, their IOS
app requires v9, or something) and has been driving browser based
streaming for ages.
All of us with a BBC licence should get a free

Hi David
You should be able to use WinScp to navigate to your Spotify cache, the
path is shown on the Settings page Info tab.
Strongly recommend completing the pinkdot instruction, also, if you
decide to stay with LMS on the NAS, perform the security update for
SSODS.

Thinking a bit more...
when I have had problems with the Helper App not running I have resolved
it by re-entering my password for Spotify on the Settings advanced page

I followed these instructions from pinkdot
http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?69986-SSODS-4-released=784918=1#post784918
Is it just the Spotify that does not work? If you can stream a radio
station or playback some local files then at least (I
think/hope/wish/pray) that would resolve
I've just looked through your posted log and see that it uses SSODS, so
I guess the procedure is the same as for the Qnap.

if one does not work, try the other.

I do know that syncing the "official" Logitech players results in the
